MH2 – B♭ Chanter Reed

MH2 Chanter reeds are suitable for all “B Flat” (B♭) or “Orchestral” chanters on the current market.

The MH2 Chanter reeds are bound with a purple thread to distinguish them from not only our MH1 Chanter reeds (black thread), but others on the market.  These ridge cut reeds are available in 3 weights, easy, medium and hard, allowing for a suitable to be chosen for all pipers.  The MH2 B♭ Chanter Reed is pitched to around 466hz which is recognised as B♭ in orchestras, or accompanying instruments who tune to concert A=440hz.
